Breakdowns

Walt Disney Animation Studios
The essence of production at Walt Disney Animation Studios embodies collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to artistic excellence. I first joined the studio as a Lighting Trainee, where I had the rare opportunity to learn directly from some of the most talented artists in the industry and immerse myself in Disney’s world-class filmmaking process. Following my training, I was promoted to Lighting Apprentice and contributed to Zootopia 2, working alongside an incredible team of artists who continually set the standard for visual storytelling. Being part of such a collaborative and creatively driven environment represents both a career highlight and a formative step in my growth as an artist.

DreamWorks TV
The nature of animation production within Dreamworks TV involves close collaboration with internal artists and overseas partner studios that provide their services for a large bulk of the episodic shot work that gets produced. As a lighting/compositing artist, it’s our primary responsibility to set up the master light rig for all assets in a show under a variety of lighting conditions and Times of Day that are pre-determined by the needs of a show team. Occasionally we have the opportunity to light key shots in a sequence or polish shots delivered from our overseas partner studios. As such, these breakdowns contain a variety of work across six of DreamWorks TV’s most recent shows.

Personal Work
My personal work as a 3D generalist is an opportunity to expand my skills and keep them sharp. These projects allow me to explore new software, experiment with workflows, and draw inspiration from other visual development artists. I take on every stage of production, from modeling to compositing, giving me the freedom to push my craft and grow both technically and artistically.
